Kristy fell in love with Morocco more than 20 years ago as a Peace Corps volunteer. After all these years she is still entranced by its seemingly endless mountains and desert valleys, and the colorful, exotic Berber culture living in a long-forgotten age. She has a strong interest in Moroccan handicrafts and traditions, and has created a line of women's handbags and belts combining the ethnic designs of the Moroccan Berber with those of the American Indian. Kristy loves exploring Morocco, whether by horse, bicycle, or on foot. She speaks Arabic and some Berber dialects, and has a great rapport with the Moroccan people.
